That is the real reason for the "death tax": punishment for being rich. I hate that argument that, "They can afford it." As if that is a justification. This tax brings in so little revenue at such a high cost--monetarily and in inefficiency-- that it should be repealed on those grounds alone. All the other arguments against it are just gravy.
