Read this carefully,

Read this carefully, "Crystal Ball Policy;" you might just learn something you obviously missed in 8th grade. In wartime, it's always a good idea for the representatives of the people (that's the House, not the Senate; capeesh?) to clearly express their support of the civilian leader of all US forces (that's the President; got it?) and his policies. The House resolution did just that. In addition, it's a Congressional election year, and (gasp!) politicians play politics, especially in election years. Sooooo, the leftists and their so-called "moderate" allies in the House are now on record in opposition to the successful prosecution of the global war on terror (Phase II, Iraq). Could that have an effect on voting in November? I truly, truly hope so. (BTW, hold onto your hat when Phase III begins....) I might also add that issues that seem trivial to you, same-sex marriage, flag desecration, perhaps the eminent domain conflict, homosexuals in the military, making the tax cuts permanent, protecting Second Amendment gun rights and allowing the American people access to their own natural resources (such as our own oil in ANWR and in the off-shore coastal oil fields) are NOT trivial to the majority of Americans, as you lala-libs will discover to your chagrin in November when, contrary to your expectations, you lose. I can hardly wait. I'm not "Anonymous." I'm TNP, which stands for "Take No Prisoners."
