What?!

"Of course, they assume we are determined to win!"

Why would they assume that? When 48% of voted for Kerry, 35% of the House just voted against it, and the majority of the Media-- especially the NYT-- has produced nothing but a constant drumbeat of negative news despite the incredible advancement of democracy that has been seen in Iraq and Afghanistan. This has seeded a democratic revolution to come in the Middle East.

This stand against Islamofascism has changed the face of the Middle East-- and history-- forever. All within a very short time, with minimal loss of American lives, and relatively cheaply given the inevitable ultimate benefit to us and the rest of the world. I was expecting 10 years of "war"; looks like it will be only 5-6. Were there mistakes made? Sure. The majority were caused by listening to the shadow governments in the CIA and State Dept., the anti-American ultraleft (i.e Democrat mainstream), and worrying about what the rest of the world and UN thought about us. After taking Afghanistan, if we would have leveled complete devastation from the Mediterranean (Syria, Lebanon) on our way to Baghdad and the Iranian border, this would be over already-- and alot more cheaply. Iran would be falling today without another shot being fired; and Kim Jong Il would be begging for mercy from the "crazy" Americans.

Just imagine how much faster and cheaper this could have been done without the Left's obstructionism-- both politically and through the Media's unrelenting propaganda campaign. For those of you that didn't live through or don't remember the Viet Nam era, this is deja vu all over again. Back then, however, there was no alternative Media to counterbalance what we are seeing and hearing now; Democrats had huge majorities in Congress; hated Nixon as much or more than Bush-- even though he was a liberal; and Hollywood and academia was run by real Communist sympathizers-- not the wannabes of today.
