    This is not a surprise to those of us who know Jean Schmidt the best. She is a pathological liar, who even tries to lie about her support of Bob Taft’s tax hikes. She says whatever she thinks people want to hear at the moment, and never considers that evidence of alternative positions could reappear at any moment. Only someone as incompetent as her could place a Safe Republican district in danger of a loss.
