Joe Cimperman Shows Up At Dennis Kucinich’s House
From WTAM
It was admittedly a campaign stunt as Cleveland Councilman Joe Cimperman stopped at Dennis Kucinich’s Cleveland home Wednesday morning. Cimperman, who is running for Kucinich’s congressional seat, delivered a “Welcome Home” gift basket to the Cleveland Democrat.
The basket contained maps and other items that Cimperman says are designed to reacquaint Kucinich with the 10th Congressional District. Cimperman has criticized Kucinich for being absent during his campaign for President.
While Kucinich wasn’t home, his wife Elizabeth did come to the door. She declined to take the basket, saying they didn’t accept gifts from people “wrapped up in Washington special interests.”
Cimpermann either has real set on him…or he is DK in training. I heard that he once held a campaign coffee in the lobby of his oppnent’s cono complex.
balls? or our next DK? you decide.
I have dealt with Joe C. on a couple of occasions. For instance his downtown development friends needed a zoning law changed to let strip clubs pack together within 1000 feet of homes, churchces, and parks. So, a couple of the locals and myself badgered him and the planning committee into reducing the allowed number of porn palaces in their “blue light district” to two.
I will tell you he is a hard worker and means bussiness. He does care about my ward. The guy is very easy to get in touch with a meet with as well.
