Trakas said he hopes that their campaigns generate criticisms of Kucinich, making him easier to beat in the general election.
Trakas scheduled his official kick-off for Saturday, the anniversary of the day Cleveland slid into default during Kucinich’s mayoral administration.
The very first time I met and heard Jim Trakas speak I told my wife that he belongs in the Congress but yet I was still floored when I heard him announce it. Jim is a statesman and will be a great Congressman GOD Wiling. Jim also spoke of how when Cleveland was tired of Kucinich as Mayor they voted overwhelmingly for a Republican named George Voinovich and were quite pleased with the results then and would be well pleased if they vote for a Republican named Jim Trakas for Congress next year.
