About Right Angle Blog

Right Angle Blog was founded at rightangleblog.blogspot.com during Ohio’s 2006 Republican gubernatorial primary. During that time, Right Angle Blog, with its Cleveland-based conservative slant, built a consistent audience of magnanimous moderates, perceptive partisans and cogent conservatives who, on a daily basis, made the debates in the comment section more intriguing than the blog posts themselves.

Right Angle Blog has since evolved into rightangleblog.com, which gives the keys to our loyal readers. Sure, we will continue to blog, but the site is also set up to give Ohio Republicans their own home on the internet.

As the online community for Ohio’s conservative movement, Right Angle Blog is dedicated to strengthening the influence of conservatives, and conservatism, in the Ohio Republican Party and the national Republican Party.

Right Angle Blog is dedicated to upholding the principles of the Party of Lincoln. Not only has the Republican Party destroyed slavery, but the GOP also stand firm for the principles of limited government, traditional values, protecting the unborn, religious liberty and defeating terror. We do not always agree and there is often disagreement within the Party, but our constructive disagreements and debates have always lead to great achievements.

We believe it is fair to say that the liberal blogosphere has damaged and failed the Democrat Party. The right has shown that not only can we win the debate, but we also know how to win elections. Right Angle Blog’s purpose is to expand that effort online.

Right Angle Blog, as an online community, offers Republican/Conservative/Libertarian registered users can do the following:

  • post comments
  • create and update their own blog on rightangleblog.com
  • use allotted space to upload images and files for posting on their blog
If you have something to say -- concurring or dissenting -- chime in; constructive conflict is how the Republican Party grows. Your input is welcome, and appreciated.

Also, Republican candidates and their campaigns are always welcomed to sign up for their own blog.
