Vermont-Style Concealed Carry Coming to Ohio?
This comes from Jill’s blog - This bill has been talked about for awhile, but I’m happy to see that Ohio may get Vermont style concealed carry, which doesn’t require a permit to conceal a firearm. Gun Owners for America has more about why states should adopt Vermont style carry here.
I can imagine the liberal Ohio MSM shutting down their editorial pages for months to leave enough room to complain and cry about this bill and the 2nd amendment. But since the right to carry firearms for protection is provided to law abiding citizens in the US constitution and Ohio constitution, this is a healthy battle worth having. And its fun to annoy the anti-gun types at the Cleveland Plain Dealer, who treat permit holders like criminals.
I’ll ask around and find out more tomorrow. I don’t see anything on the Ohioans for Concealed Carry website yet.
maybe then you can safely visit city center?
that place is so run down- i dont know why i would go in there.
Hi there. I just wanted to let you know that IssueLab.com will be featuring nonprofit research on all aspects of gun control and gun rights in June. I hope we can be a helpful resource as you discuss these issues — and selfishly, I hope that maybe you can help send some more pro-gun data our way to help round out the content that we already have. We're really trying to make sure our archives are as balanced as possible. All the best to you!
Jena, please contact Ohioans for Concealed Carry and the Buckeye Firearms Association.
We owe Representative Tom Brinkman a round of thanks for bringing this issue to the table.
It's always nice to see those who run as conservatives stand by their convictions. We have too little of that in Ohio.
