And I wouldn’t read too much into this Public Opinion Strategies (POS) poll that the Latta campaign sent out today. In December of 2005, POS announced that Jim Petro and Ken Blackwell were tied. And, right before the 2006 primary, Jim Petro released a POS poll which showed that he was only down by 5%, which contradicted the very accurate poll from the Ohio GOP. I’m not saying that POS is necessarily a p.o.s., but with a large margin of error and questionable results in other races, this poll is only helpful to Latta in the extent that it can generate press coverage. And no amount of spin will save tax raisin’ Latta from being outspent 5 to 1.
Dude they give out those watchdog awards to every Republican.
