Ohio Poll: Rudy and Hillary do Well in Ohio

From the AP:

Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Rudy Giuliani have the highest favorability ratings among voters from their parties, according to a poll of Ohio registered voters released today by the University of Cincinnati.

Clinton, a U.S. senator from New York, had a 50 percent net favorability rating, the percentage of Democratic registered voters who have a favorable opinion minus those who have an unfavorable opinion. Giuliani, former New York mayor, had a 55 percent net favorability rating among Republican registered voters.

The Ohio Poll, conducted by the University of Cincinnati’s Institute for Policy Research, polled a random sample of 321 Democratic registered voters and 290 Republican registered voters between Oct. 19 and Oct. 31. The margins of errors were 5.5 percent and 5.7 percent, respectively.

On the Republican side of things, these numbers will change dramatically once more Republicans learn of Rudy’s pro-abortion views.

And this poll about Hillary should give her campaign little comfort… Most Americans have already made up their mind about her, and about 1/2 of America already oppose her. I think she can’t win without a 3rd party candidate to play the role of Ross Perot- Maybe that candidate will be Mike Bloomberg or Ron Paul?

I also never cared much for the Ohio Poll because the margin of error is high and the snapshot of time is slightly longer than I’d want to see… But I suppose it is atleast better than the Akron Bliss Institute’s meaningless month-long polls or those highly questionable Survey USA phone polls.
