The Other Paper Reports on The Dispatch’s Coleman Coverup
Here is the article.
I’m disappointed because there is a great deal of awful information The Dispatch has been sitting on about Mayor Coleman for a number of years… especially about Mike’s infidelity and shady business deals. I guess we won’t know the truth for a few years until Coleman runs for statewide office.
I actually met Mr. Morrison today after his speaking engagement at Capital University, and he was surprisingly friendly. Too bad he is in the business of protecting a cheating horny dirtball Mayor and Mr. Wolfe’s financial interests.
I think Ben Marrison just fudged the facts in the Other Paper.
The story quotes Ben as saying “We publish every story when it’s done,” Marrison said. “When politicians who get a phone call think it’s done isn’t when it’s done. It’s when we’re done with the editing and reporting.”
Asked specifically whether the stories had been slated for an earlier publication date, Marrison repeated, “We publish stories when they’re finished.”
Thanks Ben…. Now for the truth…. According to the folks who received Jodi’s voice message on Wednesday, October 10th at 2:07 pm, she stated that the story was to run on SUNDAY (October 14th).
Draw your own conclusions. It shouldn’t take too long, nor require too much analysis.
Um, Matt, Coleman has already ran for statewide office. Twice, in fact. He was Lee Fisher’s running mate in 1998 and at a time, was in the running for the Democratic nomination for Governor in 2006.
