Another Major Goof by AG Marc Dann

From James Nash in The Dispatch:

Attorney General Marc Dann’s top fiscal watchdog resigned yesterday after he was confronted with evidence that he had inflated his credentials when he was hired in June.

Rick R. Houze, who was paid $90,000 a year as the director of Dann’s internal audit section, quit rather than face termination for claiming to be a certified public accountant when he was not.[…]

Dann fired his top law-enforcement aide in April after learning that he had continued to draw a salary from the Youngstown Police Department in violation of his employment contract. In May, Dann fired his deputy security director after learning that the man had been convicted of involuntary manslaughter for killing someone in Pennsylvania in 1975.

I wonder if this guy is qualified to be a fry cook?

Three high-level firings in the first eight months, and all over things that could have and should have been caught before hiring? Have any of the other statewides had even one similar one? Or, did Petro or Montgomery have anything similar? I don’t think so. On top of these three, think of the Dann blunders that apparently did not get anyone fired, such as missed filing deadlines, invitations to partisan events over office e-mail, and more.
