ModernEsquire Nonsense About Bill Todd’s New Radio Ad

ModernEsquire, one of BuckeyeStateBlog’s many anonymous Ohio Democrat Party employees sex offenders bloggers, had this to say about Columbus mayoral candidate Bill Todd’s new radio ad:

Bill Todd doesn’t give a whit about the children of Columbus. I’d bet the farm that his two sons didn’t attend school in Columbus. In fact, his only concern about the education system of Columbus is how he can use his political office to steer more business to White Hat Management and reward his political sponsors for their support.

You need to look no further than his “plan” for education and see that it’s nothing more than a corporate handout to charter schools who have a rather pathetic track record so far.

But Modern, the difference between Todd and Coleman is that Todd supports school choice and wants to give parents the ability to escape failing schools if they chose to. Coleman disagrees.

David Brennan donates to pro-school choice candidates because he runs a number of charter schools, but there are plenty of other schools that he doesn’t own. And, it is that profit motive that Brennan and other school owners have which make private schools so much more efficient, and generally better, than public schools.

Greed is not a dirty word, and Brennan and other owners of private schools are just as greedy as teacher unions and public school administrators. The only difference is, Brennan, along with Catholic schools and other private schools have to CONVINCE parents to send their children to their schools, while the public schools count on FORCE and COERCION. Also, charter and private schools can go out of business, while public schools can’t. Therefore, in this system, private schools have a much larger incentive to become better schools than public schools. That isn’t my opinion- That is an economic truism.

Also, as Glenn Beck pointed out more than a year ago, it was alittle odd that Mayor Mike Coleman sends his children to Catholic school when he isn’t Catholic. But I suppose theology isn’t a concern, as no religion would approve of Mike’s screwing around with many women who aren’t named “Frankie.”

When it comes to education, Mayor Mike Coleman is willing to throw poor, young black children under the bus in exchange for political support from teacher unions. What an awful shame.

What a great post! The state of Columbus schools and the fact that Mike Coleman AND former Columbus Scool Board President Stephanie Hightower did not send their kids to Columbus public schools is proof positive that the Mayor and the School Board operates under the Motto “DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO”….. If the Mayor and the School Board President can Evacuate their kids, then EVERY family in Columbus should be allowed to do the same!! Memo to Columbus Voters - Time for Change
