Draganic Gets Some Press
Pete Draganic the long shot candidate for Governor (although he won our internet poll) had a nice write up about his candidacy in the Review newspaper. Some highlights of the article
***”We need somebody outside of politics as usual,” Draganic said.
***”I think sometimes when you’re part of a political process for so long, you develop an inability to rise above it because you’re such a part of it,” Draganic said.
***One way he suggested would be through reductions in spending. As an example, he said the state could establish a department for printing of school textbooks which could save money for education, theorizing that it would be cheaper to produce the books here than buying them somewhere else.
