AG Marc Dann Proudly Endorses Sales Tax Hike
From WLWT:
Some prominent officials made their positions known Monday on the sales tax hike intended to pay for a new Hamilton County Jail.
Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann announced he was on board with the plan, which also includes funding for safety programs aimed at reducing crime.
Dann, a Democrat, joined Hamilton County Sheriff Simon Leis, a Republican, at a Price Hill rally in support of Issue 27.
A group of Republicans, however, gathered to express their disapproval of the county’s GOP leadership, which has endorsed the tax hike.
