Special Message to the SOB
Note to the SOB. Guys I’m going to track down your e-mails and send this to each of you as best I can (not an easy task, with so many of you shutting yourselves off by not providing contact info.) (I don’t fault you for that at all, I served 500 members of a trade association in my last job and there would be days when I easily got 100+ e-mails, and I didn’t have any left-wing crazies stalking me or anything.)
It truly is a shame that most politicians focus a majority of their efforts on working their way through the two political machines that enables them to stay in power. It also is a travesty that most liberals grew up privileged themselves and someone decided that“I’m going to fight the establishment and be a D!” That mentality allows the D’s to promote foolish agendas like raising the minimum wage. They are marching their way around the State of
If the minimum wage is raised we’ll see $4 a gallon milk and $5 a gallon gas before we know it. It this enables the progressive liberals to gain power, this country will be in such bad shape in 2-3 years that we will look back at the Great Depression as a minor cyclical adjustment in the economic cycle. No one on the other side of the spectrum will ever share that information with the uneducated. The true fact of life is that no one that is poor will ever believe a Republican is telling them the truth until it’s too late, then of course they will try to scapegoat the root cause of the problem to some ludicrous notion that tax cuts led to this.
I have attempted to join the SOB, but powers that be do not want me to have a voice in this forum. That is a travesty in itself as far as I’m concerned. I have noted on a number of occasions this is not about ME. Guys, I could be working in a downtown
I know every political expert still believes I have lost my mind for quitting my job and coming HOME to run in the 2CD as not only an Independent, but a write-in one at that. If I didn’t have a true message to share or if I was doing this to build my own ego I would fully agree. I’m also blacklisted because I not only plan to, but I WILL in fact expose the transgressions that Jean Schmidt continues to engage in. You will all become aware of what I’m talking about in due time.
I’m actually going to leave it up to her core on the web, i.e., the SOB whether I come out firing with this info or hold it until August 23 at 4:01pm (a minute after she could be replaced on the ballot of course / or more practically I would likely do this the morning of 8/24.) Or if I go ahead and go public allowing the Party enough time to get another soldier on the ticket.
I feel bad for her and even worse for the people she has literally duped into supporting her and all of her fabrications and deceit. I know you are thinking to yourselves that I am just pumping rhetoric out there, but most of you understand the meaning of: clear and convincing evidence and beyond a reasonable doubt. If not, my guess is that you will understand it a little better in the near future and think to yourself“how the heck did I get suckered into that?” Nothing, and I mean nothing, I have ever posted has been a fabrication of any kind whatsoever. Nothing in this post is rhetoric. No, I won’t go public with everything here in this forum or even in my own. After I complete the proper processes with the applicable government agencies, then you’ll figure out real quick what this message is all about.
So, like I said prior I’d love to be part of the SOB. After what I uncovered over the weekend I feel I have all I need to bring the Jean Schmidt era in OH-2 to its complete and final just fruition. I’m pretty sure that the conventional media will embrace what I deliver to them and it will be intriguing to see how all of her cronies deal with the aftermath. My preference is to focus on the educating the public (as one of their own mind you) that supply-side economics is the only economic answer for success and trust in Jesus Christ is the one social one. Most of you could go a long way in helping me in those endeavors; in fact, most of you could accomplish that without ever taking your own risk by opposing Schmidt.
I won’t hold any grudges, but those that decide to flame me should realize they really are not aware of some of the things going on. Putting your blind faith in any person is a huge risk. So, if Jean has done something for you personally lately then I respect your loyalty towards her and would not even ask for your support until the picture becomes crystal clear. However, if you back her simply because there is an R beside her name I would challenge you to compare what she stands for v. what I stand for. I would also hope that Jean doesn’t stand for anything.
Someone else calls ALL of the shots for Jean, it may be the Party, but I doubt it. Just look back at the videos of the Murtha incident and the aftermath for validation of this claim. Check out where she says Congressman“uh” then she has to look down at here notes to find the name Murtha. If I were going to flame someone, I’d sure heck not need to review my notes to have his name handy. Then take a look at her interviews following this. Each of them were verbatim, and I don’t mean speaking notes I mean almost to the exact same words, over, and over, and over and over again. There is a good one with Channel 12 where she starts to misspeak a word from the script and almost falls over herself as she corrects it. Come on guys, how can you support oblique puppet master. (I’m sure the liberals think it’s the SOB behind her, but what I read in her deposition to the OEC will give most of you guys a shock of a lifetime on that one too.) Finally go back and see how she reacted to Cunningham getting her off script. He asked her what she had learned and pressed the issue, after 4-5 responses of“a lot” she finally came up with“not to wear a red dress” all by herself.
I would hope that at a minimum those of you not moved to support me at least say a prayer for me and avoid throwing any falsehoods out there that will damper the message I am trying to deliver for the betterment of an area that has had few if any breaks in life.
I’ll close with one from

Good luck brother. It takes guts to jump in the ring of life and fight. This is what the men and women of our armed forces are doing this very moment; fighting for something, fighting for something very important. But if it is as you say it is with Schmidt then this is one of the very many reasons that Bob Bennett needs to go. I believe this guy is working for a very small group of people and not the citizens that vote and care about this state.
Stay in the fight!

Thanks Brian, I appreciate the support. As long as I can expose the truth then I will have done all I can, that’s the primary game plan at first.

Mr. Noy,
We are not the mouthpiece or the “corps” ( I think that is what you meant) for Jean Schmidt. Many in our blog alliance actually were McEwen supporters. Sir, the reason you were not granted entrance into the SOB is in the vitriol and the singlefocus of your diatribe. This is not about discourse and debate with you. You seem to be stuck on Jean Schmidt. The voters spoke. The time to take her on was in the primary, and that has been done. The voters spoke, they voted for Jean Schmidt. My own county was not a fan of hers, but thsoe are the breaks. What is your point? You act like those of us in the SOB are some evil illuminati? We are not. We are bloggers who report on different issues. None of us are singularly focused on one person as you are. Good luck in your pursuits, but I hope you don’t sling mud.

Thank you for running Nate! I had no idea who I was going to vote for this November. The tax hiker or the tax hiker?
Now that you're running, I finally have someone to support. I've never voted for Mean Jean Schmidt before and I have no plans to change that.

Good ridence,
You sound like a crying liberal! Where were you when the primaries were happening? I truly believe that you are a Dem only meant to take away votes from a true American Hero Jean Smitcdt! She gave it to that whinney PA congressman what ever his name was and we need to keep people like her in office. You will only split the votes and allow that Iraq veteran in office! We don't need people who actually faught in wars, we need people who have never faught because their minds are clear from distractions! Those people go out of our country and GOD only knows what they've been put through and then they seem to come back and turn into a whinney liberal!
Drop out of the race! Please for the sake of Gene Scmidte!

Nate: "I have attempted to join the SOB, but powers that be do not want me to have a voice in this forum. That is a travesty in itself as far as I’m concerned. I have noted on a number of occasions this is not about ME."
Nate, I thought we had an understanding, but I can clearly see that you have a problem not only with Jean Schmidt, but with reality in general so I'm going to set you straight. The "powers that be" didn't shut you out because we like Jean Schmidt. We have over 40 bloggers in the Alliance only four of whom actually reside in or cover regulary the 2nd Congressional District.
You were excluded because you are an active candidate for office. We didn't want the Alliance pulled in to political games like this nonsense. I told you that. You agreed and we were both rather amiable about it. And now here you are trashing me and the SOB Alliance.
You have illustrated with this diatribe that it is indeed all about you. Otherwise, you would have contacted me prior to this smearjob you've pulled. I would have been more than happy to forward your manifesto to the entire Alliance because somebody would have covered you like a number of us covered James Harris…
I WISH the SOB Alliance had enough clout we could "control" a member of Congress as you assert here. Half the time, I'm lucky to get a canned form letter reply from our elected officials in Washington. But go on believing whatever black helicopter theory that allows you toget some sleep at night…
Turns out I did learn something from watching Bugs Bunny when I was a kid… I knowa maroon when I see one…

Nate,
I’m not sure how many of the SOB blogs you read but the 2nd Congressional District race isn’t even hardly being covered now that the primary is over. The bloggers who “supported” Schmidt in the primary were not so much big fans of hers as much as strongly opposed to her opponent, Bob McEwen.
The things you’ve criticized Schmidt for are basically that she is not a polished public speaker. Okay. Most folks who’ve heard her speak realize that already. What positions on issues are you at odds with her? What votes has she cast that you would have voted differently on, and why? If you want to be taken seriously, explain why you should be elected. Don’t just hint about allegations to be comings in three weeks. If there honestly are things which the voters should know throw it out there now.
Lastly, where were you during the primary?
Sincerely,
Bill

Nate, Matt and I both agreed that you should not become an SOB member, learn the secret handshake, and get a “thank you sir, may I have another” session because of your active candidate status. You have exercised extremely poor judgment and are exemplifying the very thing you claim to despise about Jean Schmidt by lying about the situation. Newbie candidates don’t get too many second chances, and as far as I’m concerned you’ve blown your first. Strike on.
You seem to believe that there is some kind of collective groupthink at SOB; after all, you mischaracterize it as Jean Schmidt’s “core on the web.” If this stereotyping is indicative of how you analyze issues and arrive at positions, I would suggest you are well on your way to Strike Two.
As to the relevance of Schmidt-Murtha:
- If you want to see the transcript of the Cunningham interview, it’s here:
http://www.bizzyblog.com/?p=898
- If you want to see my pretty strong critique of her Cunningham performance, and a near-refutation of the charge that she knew Murtha is a former marine when she gave her speech, go here:
http://www.bizzyblog.com/?p=934
My take on Murtha, as I have said all along, is that she has been extremely lucky. I won’t name all the ways that she has been lucky, but the biggest is Murtha himself. The more he implodes, the better she looks.
If you have something new that we haven’t seen or heard of, you’re welcome to bring it up. And you don’t have to wait until (what was it?) August 23 at 4:01 PM.

A few quick notes for the record:
(1) My post on this board with an overreaching rant and request for inclusion in the SOB went up prior to an e-mail I sent to Matt and Bizzy.
(2) Subsequently I sent Matt the aforementioned personal e-mail and Matt very cordially declined my request for a spot in the SOB. In hindsight, I should have removed the post; or rather updated the public record with Matt’s response.
(3) A very high profile member of the SOB was a paid staffer for the Jean Schmidt for the Congress Committee last year and according to the FEC received “salary for “web & internet services totaling $2,000. You can verify this for yourself at www.fec.gov. How is that much different from carrying my site in the alliance? Post with facts to follow.

Tom and Matt,
I apologize that my first impression came off a little stronger than I had intended. It’s obviously quite difficult to get on the radar and get from ground zero with now only 90 days to go before the election. In hindsight, I was a little over zealous in my initial launch of this thing.
Next week I will be in touch with you both of you. I intend to file some items with the OEC and release info to the media. I’m sure you will have an interest in the material I have in hand and I’ll be more than happy to provide you each with a copy.

I left Ohio in Feb. 2004. I moved back here in early July. I NEVER registered to voted anywhere else, I never voted anywhere else. My wife and I stored our entire house full of personal belongings in two storage units here in Ohio and paid $160 a month for 2 and years until we could find a way to come back. Nate Noy, you sound suspiciously like several individuals and groups I've heard from in times past, such as 1) the so-called Platform Republicans (PR's) in Hamilton County,2)an outfit called CitizensOpposed to Additional Spending and Taxes (COAST) and 3) Tom Brinkman. Your approach seems to be a littleless rabidthan any of the aforementioned folks, but your single-minded focus on opposing Jean Schmidt coupled withthe conspiratorial nature of your implied forthcoming revelations of damning "truth" about herhave very nearly convinced me that your upstart candidacy isin some way related to those aforementioned entities. In the coming weeks, I'll be interested in reading your positions on the key issues of the day.But I don't hold out much hope for you if you are marching to the tune of the adherents of COAST and the like. One dead giveaway will be if you schedule a debate between yourself and Jean and Wulsin but don't get them to agree toparticipate before you rent the hall and publicize the date. That goofy maneuver was tried by eccentric elements from the Jean-hating ranks of the Anderson Township Republican Club (ATRC) during the recent May primary, and the upshot was a big fat blemish on the name of the ATRC and an unforgettable blackmark onthe reputation of one or two of its most prominent members. BTW, the Bible says that the root of all evil is "the love of money," not money itself (I Timothy 6:10).
