Update on Racist Governor Ted Strickland

Here is the audio clip from this morning’s War Room with Quinn and Rose (.mp3 format, Fast-forward to 5:20 to listen to the most important part.) The War Room’s website is http://www.warroom.com/.

It is hilarious to hear Democrats deny that many union members are racist and their politicians also pander to those sentiments. The very creation of unions in America was because of issues involving race, and their support for the Davis Bacon Act and other such minimum wage laws were explicitly passed in the early 1900s to keep poor blacks from working for less money and taking jobs away from white employees. And if you don’t think their are plenty of union meatheads who have racism in their hearts that they direct at certain races of people in other countries who are “taking” their jobs away, then you are kidding yourself.

Ted Strickland is a talented, oatmeal-and-mashed-potato-sandwich politician who knows how to speak to his base. Ted Strickland has pointed out to union members on a number of occasions that they should not vote for Ken Blackwell because of his race, and now Strickland is running quite the smear campaign against Barack Obama. And no matter what Ted says, he is only truly angry that word of his bigoted comments leaked out.

Ted Strickland is as racist as Larry Craig is a toe-tapping homosexual. He should be ashamed of his own racist tactics.

Your source (a right wing radio common tater) is attributing Strickland’s alleged remarks to un-named sources. I understand that blogger are not journalists per se. That said, don’t you think you have an obligation to have at least one person go “on the record” if you are going to make these types of allegations? By simply regurgitating something that someone else made up, your own credibility suffers.

I don’t read Right Angle Blog too often, but I may be reading it a good deal less if you’re going to have disgraceful postings like this one. You don’t accuse someone of being a racist, while putting their photo up with a burning cross next to it, because of some unverified quotes from unnamed sources. That’s the kind of garbage the Left engages in.
