Larry Wolpert as the GOP Candidate in the 15th? Probably Not
Jim Siegel in The Dispatch reports that State Rep. Larry Wolpert is a possible candidate to run against Mary Jo Kilroy in the 15th District. Larry Wolpert’s name has been out their since the beginning, but I think Jim is wrong- My sources say that Larry most definitely is not a candidate and he doesn’t want to run.
Unless something incredible has changed in the past 24 hours, Larry won’t run. And if something did change, why would the party immediately run to the liberal Columbus Dispatch just to hint at their decision and encourage such meaningless speculation on the newspaper’s blog?
On a side note, I’m still waiting for Larry Wolpert’s office to publish Jim Petro’s “Citizens’ Amendment for Prosperity” (aka, the “CAP”).
