Dolan and Batchelder Won’t Spend Funds on Contested Primaries?
An email from a friend of RAB:
Tonight at the OHRCC fundraiser, Husted announced that both Dolan and Batch have agreed not spend any of the funds they raise on contested primaries. All of the money raised would be spent to elect Republicans over Democrats in the General, not R’s over R’s in Primaries.
Speaker grabbed both Dolan and Batch’s hand and raised them over his head triumphantly after the announcement…it was a little awkward.
Where is the fun in this? That is how Householder became Speaker, and it’s the best way to secure votes for you in the next general assembly.
